Therapy

It is very important to find the right therapist and therapy to suit your needs.  You may have a clear idea of what you need and want from therapy, or you may be unsure and wish to explore this over a period of time.  An initial assessment gives us a starting point to think about what your main needs might be and what kind of approach may suit you.  It is a chance to see if you would like to work with the therapist and whether the approach suggested is the right one for you.  As part of assessment we may use some questionnaires and psychometric measures to clarify your difficulties and track progress as we go along.

Therapy offered at Ubuntu Psychology includes

  • individual sessions

  • couple sessions

  • group therapy, which is an 8-12 week program of Compassionate Mind Training

At present we only offer adults a service.
